Health Requirements
Alliant Energy Center observes the regulations set forth by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. An official CVI issued within thirty (30) days prior to the Red Angus Youth Expo must accompany all animals and shall be available at all times. All health certificates must have the physical address of livestock being moved (No post office boxes) for both the consignor and consignee. Animals included on the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) should not be known to be infected with or exposed to contagious diseases, or showing signs of contagious or infectious disease, including highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). If such a disease is found, it will be cause for removal of the animal(s) from the exhibition.

FEMALES: At the time of processing, all females 20 months of age or older on the publicized date of show must have one of the following: a certificate of pregnancy from a licensed veterinarian or a written statement by a licensed veterinarian or embryologist of having produced fertile eggs.
Exercising Animals:
Alliant Energy Center has extensive lawns and landscaped areas that greatly enhance the facility. Exercising or riding on the lawns is prohibited. Any exhibitor caught exercising on the lawns will be responsible for damage expenses. Exercise arenas will be provided in the stalling barn to exercise cattle.
Motorized Vehicles
No motorized utility vehicles, like 4-wheelers, golf carts, etc., will be allowed on the grounds. Handicap scooters are the only type of motorized vehicle allowed on the grounds. Any type of motorized vehicle must also be accompanied by liability insurance.
Dog policy
Due to the requirements of our liability insurance carrier and policy, NO DOGS will be allowed in the barns. Dogs must remain in the designated camping areas. These areas include parking lots or buildings other than service animals. All service animals must be on a leash. NO dogs will be permitted in the animal barns, tie-outs, or show ring/makeup ring area.
Waste & Manure Disposal
Concrete manure storage areas are located outside of both pavilions under covered overhangs. Manure and bedding must be free of foreign matter and trash. Trash barrels are distributed throughout the facility for trash collection. Any exhibitor caught putting foreign matter or trash into the manure bens will be subject to manure sorting charges.
Porta Cools
Porta-Cools will be allowed inside the barn as long as they are within each exhibitor’s assigned stall areas. Butt fans are not allowed.
Generators
Generators are not allowed on AEC campus.
Stalling & Tie Outs
State groups will assign stalls and tie-outs. Exhibitors are required to stall with the state listed on their REDPros account unless prior arrangements outlined in the premium book were made.
Each exhibitor will receive 5 feet per head. Each state will be given 10 feet in their stalling map designated for their state exhibit/display.
Tie-outs will be first-come come first serve besides the reserved tie-out space purchased on the online fundraiser. NO pens are allowed in tie-outs. Pens for cow/calf pairs only must be approved by RAYE staff; upon arrival at RAYE, check in at the show office for pen placement. There will be no tying to trailers for tie-outs. No tents, generators, or fans are allowed in tie-outs. All cattle in tie-outs MUST wear a neck rope.
Reminder: NO FARM SIGNS ALLOWED
Stalls and tie-outs will be pre-bedded with cedar mulch base bedding (bedding will be dumped in the stalls for each exhibitor to spread). Straw will be allowed in tie-outs but not inside the barns. Wood chips, wood shavings, or cedar fiber may be used as top dressing to the base bedding. Participants may bring in hay and feed.
Show Supply Vendor
A Sullivan Supply trailer will be on the grounds for RAYE, and it will be open Sunday-Friday.
Show Shirts
Each exhibitor will receive two show t-shirts. One shirt will be for showmanship, and one shirt will be required for showing on Thursday/Friday.
Exhibitor Morning Meeting
We will have a MANDATORY exhibitor meeting on Monday, June 22. Take advantage of this meeting to learn about the important details of the week and meet your 2026-2027 Junior Board Candidates.
Junior Red Angus Annual Meeting
The annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24. Don’t miss this important meeting, at which we will amend our bylaws and elect our 2026-2027 Junior Board.
