Health Requirements
An official CVI issued within thirty (30) days prior to the Red Angus Youth Expo must accompany all animals and shall be available at all times to the representatives of the Animal Industry Services of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture.  All animals must be free of infectious, communicable, or contagious diseases. If such a disease is found, it will be cause for removal of the animal(s) from the exhibition. For questions regarding CVIs, official identification, or import requirements, please call Animal Industry Services at 405-522-6141.

Motorized Vehicles
No motorized utility vehicles, like 4-wheelers, golf carts, etc., will be allowed on the grounds. Handicap scooters are the only type of motorized vehicle allowed on the grounds. Any type of motorized vehicle must also be accompanied by liability insurance. 

Dog policy
Due to the requirements of our liability insurance carrier and policy, NO DOGS will be allowed in the barns. Dogs must remain in the designated camping areas.  These areas include parking lots or buildings other than service animals.  All service animals must be on a leash.  NO dogs will be permitted in the animal barns, tie-outs, or show ring/makeup ring area. 

Arrival
The barn and tie-outs will open at noon on Saturday, June 8th. All cattle must be in place by Sunday, June 9th, by 6:00 PM. Please see the arrival map for details. 

Trailer Parking
There will be trailer parking available on the grounds. Please map/facility page for details. 

Porta Cools
Porta-Cools will be allowed inside the barn as long as they are within each exhibitor’s assigned stalling areas. Butt fans are not allowed.

Stalling & Tie Outs
State groups will assign stalls and tie-outs. Exhibitors are required to stall with the state listed on their REDPros account unless prior arrangements outlined in the premium book were made.

Each exhibitor will receive 5 feet per head. Each state will be given 10 feet in their stalling map designated for their state exhibit/display. View the stalling map here.

Reminder: NO FARM SIGNS ALLOWED

Stalls and tie-outs will be pre-bedded with shavings (bedding will be dumped in the stalls for each exhibitor to spread). A base bedding (cedar mulch) for all cattle entered will be provided. Straw will be allowed in tie-outs, but not inside the barns.  Wood chips, wood shavings, or cedar fiber may ONLY be used for bedding in the barns.  Hay and feed may be brought in by participants. 

Please be aware that you are NOT allowed to drill into Barn A panels, but you may use wire and zip ties.

Tie-outs will be available upon arrival. All cattle in tie-outs MUST wear a neck rope. There will be no tying to trailers for tie-outs, and building of pens in tie-outs is not allowed.  You may bring your own panels and build a pen away from the tie out area.

No feed or bedding vendors are on site, but local businesses would welcome you!

Check-in Procedure
Check-in will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, June 9 in the showring area.  You will receive check-in cards in your exhibitor packet once you arrive. These cards will help ensure you hit all of the steps of the check-in process and don’t miss any steps. By fully completing the check-in cards and turning them in at the end of check-in, that exhibitor will be entered to win a prize.

Show Shirts
Each exhibitor will receive three show t-shirts. One shirt will be for showmanship, one shirt will be required for showing on Thursday/Friday, and one fun t-shirt! 

Exhibitor Breakfast meeting 
We will have a MANDATORY exhibitor breakfast meeting on Monday, June 10th, at 9:00 a.m. Take advantage of this meeting to learn about the week. 

Junior Red Angus Annual Meeting 
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 PM. Don’t miss this important meeting, at which we will amend our bylaws and elect our 2024-2025 Junior Board.

Red Angus Youth Expo Learning Sessions
You won’t want to miss our Expo learning sessions. Sessions are filled with answers to the skill-a-thon, fun, and PRIZES.

SC Online Sales Sponsored Kickball
Held during the Family Fun Night on Tuesday, June 11th, following dinner! Sign-ups will take place during check-in on Sunday, June 9th, from 4 to 7 PM! Start assembling your teams, and get ready for your kicks on Route 66! Don’t have a team – no worries; we will help you find one!

  • 8 person teams
  • NO partial team sign-ups. Teams must be comprised of the following ages:
    • 13 & under = 4 or more players; 14 & up = NO more than 4 players (Ages will be enforced)
