All about Red Angus Youth Expo

Hosted by the RAAA and JRA, join us June 9-14, 2024 at the Grady County Fairgrounds in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The inaugural event, hosted by the Red Angus Association of America, aims to provide a network uniting Red Angus enthusiasts, offering youth competitive events to reward excellence, enhance educational opportunities, and develop leadership skills.

What Is The Red Angus Youth Expo?

This inaugural event brings together competitive events, livestock shows, and educational activities for Red Angus juniors, breeders, and industry professionals around the country for six days of education, innovation, breed improvement and networking.

Why Should I Attend The Red Angus Youth Expo?

There’s something for everyone and all ages- livestock shows, contests, a trade show, educational seminars for all ages, networking and fun! RAYE will now serve at the Junior Red Angus Association annual meeting, where association business and junior board elections will be held. Want to learn more about the association,DNA or RedsPro? RAAA staff will be on hand to provide breed/industry updates.

How Can I Attend The Red Angus Youth Expo?

The Expo is a free event for all Red Angus Enthusiasts! If you want to volunteer or sponsor the Expo, please contact [email protected].

How Can I Participate In The Red Angus Youth Expo?

Participants must be current members in good standing with the Junior Red Angus Association URA) and cannot have reached their 22nd birthday before January 1, the year of the show.

Entry Deadlines (All Entries Must Be Submitted Online)

March 15, 2024	Carcass Contest Nomination Deadline
April 2, 2024	Entries Open
May 1, 2024	Entry Deadline (NO pending registrations will be accepted)
May 15, 2024	Late Entry Deadline (Double Fees) No entries accepted after May 15

Ownership Deadline

All animals must be in the exhibitors name by May 15, 2024.

Age Divisions (As Of January 1 Of The Year Of The Show)

Rookie	7-8 years of age
Junior	9-12years of age
lntermediate	13-16 years of age
Senior	17-21 years of age
