Gracie Rogers – President
Gracie Rogers is the 18 year old daughter of Nathan and Carrie Rogers from Princeton, Missouri. She is currently a sophomore at Iowa State University where she is studying Animal Science on the Pre-Veterinary track. She is involved in Block and Bridle, the Beef Interest Group, and The Salt Company. While being on the Junior Board, Gracie strives to encourage involvement from the juniors to grow their education within the agriculture industry and expand their connections within the Red Angus breed.
Peyton Andras – Vice President
Peyton Andras is the son of Will and Kim Andras. He lives on the family farm in Manchester IL where they have raised purebred cattle for over 125 years. Peyton is a 2025 graduate of Winchester High School where he was involved in FFA, 4-H, Golf, and Baseball. He will be attending Lincoln Land Community College to study Animal Science and is a member of the Livestock judging team. His purpose in running for the board is to gain leadership experience, be a role model for the younger red angus members and continue to be engaged in the red angus breed.
Aliceson Stranberg – Secretary
Aliceson Stranberg is a dedicated enthusiast with a passion for livestock production and youth leadership. She grew up as a native in South Dakota where she actively stayed involved in her family’s Red Angus and commercial sheep opperation. As a student committed to agriculture she received her associates degree in Agriculture at Casper College, and is planning to attend Kansas State University in the fall. Aliceson believes that “you will never know if you don’t try”. As she continues to chase excellence in and out of the show barn, she always strives to leave a positive mark on the agricultural community.
Taryn Cox – Commercial Director
Taryn Cox, from Walla Walla, Washington, is a student at Kansas State University majoring in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, with a minor in Agricultural Economics and Beef Ranch Management. She works as a student researcher at the National Agricultural Biosecurity Center and is helping cofound a Women in Agriculture club. Taryn helps run Lazy F Livestock alongside her parents, Tyler and Brooke Cox, and her siblings, where they raise registered Red Angus cattle. She is running for the Junior Red Angus Board to help grow member involvement, support fellow juniors, and serve the association through active, dedicated leadership.
Addison Green Russell – Communication Director
Addison Green Russell is from Downs, KS. She has been active in the Junior Red Angus Association, FFA, and 4-H from an early age. Addie graduated from Lakeside High School this past May, she was an active member of student council, honor society, and spirit squad. Addie will be attending Kansas State University in the fall where she will pursue a dual major in Public Health and Global Food Systems Leadership. Addison is the daughter of Dr. Stephen & Samantha Russell, and the late John Green. Addie is running for board to give back to the breed. She hopes to work with the next generation of red angus members to expand involvement in the breed and herdmanship knowledge.
Zane Downey – At Large Director
Zane Downey, of Whitehall, Montana, is the son of Levi and Corie Downey. A senior at Whitehall High School, he is actively involved in FFA and shows cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs across the country. Zane values hard work, perseverance, and the leadership opportunities that come through involvement in the livestock industry. As a member of the National Junior Red Angus Board, he looks forward to encouraging fellow juniors, building connections across the country, and promoting the Red Angus breed and its future.
Claire McIntyre – At Large Director
Claire McIntyre is the daughter of Christy and Dexter McIntyre of Walnut Grove, Missouri. In the fall of 2025, Claire will begin her freshman year at NorthEastern Oklahoma A&M College to study animal science. Throughout high school, Claire was an active member of FFA, serving as her chapter president and area parliamentarian. She is also a member of the Missouri Junior Simmental Association. Her goals as a Junior Board member are to encourage more involvement in leadership activities. She hopes to learn more from successful Red Angus Breeders during her time serving on the Junior Red Angus Association Board.
J.D. Miller – At Large Director
J.D. Miller is a 4th generation cattle producer from Edgefield South Carolina. Here he lives and works on his families Red Angus operation alongside his mother and father David and Karen Miller. J.D. is currently attending Piedmont Technical College with plans to Transfer to Clemson University to major in Animal Science. He is running for the Junior Red Angus boar to help encourage and influence younger generations of cattle from all operations regardless the type or the size of the operation they may come from.
